Virgin grade PTFE has advanced properties making it an ideal choice of material for a wide range of applications.Our beluns virgin grade of PTFE is available in rod, sheet, parts and tube. PTFE rod, PTFE shee, PTFE Partst and PTFE tube is particularly useful where high temperature or excellent chemical resistance is required. With its low coefficient of friction PTFE also exhibits excellent slip-stick performance. The working temperature of PTFE rod, PTFE sheet, PTFE Parts and PTFE tube is: Max +250oC to Min -200oC. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), Its mechanical properties are low compared to other engineering plastics, but its properties remain at a useful level over a great temperature range — from -400 to 500°F (-240 to 260°C). PTFE has excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties. And, it has a low coefficient of friction. It is difficult to make anything adhere to PTFE. A material may stick to it, but the material can be peeled off or rubbed off. PTFE was the first fluorocarbon.
